We are excited to announce that Teach Yoga founder Elena Voyce will be presenting three sessions at the BWY Congress 2019 in Warwick. Elena teaches yoga and functional movement with creativity, passion, joy, enthusiasm and love which she feels are the best ingredients for a lifetime journey. Elena started her journey over 30 years ago and says that whilst in some ways it feels like a lifetime, she still feels just like a beginner: curious, surprised and happy to discover something new about herself every day. And she would love to share this with you. So come along and join us for this event and get a refresher of or an introduction to Elena’s unique and revolutionary style.

  1. How your Practice Can Nurture, Clean, Connect and Revitalise your Gut. Saturday 6th April 09:15 – 10:45

Did you know that 80% of the health of your immune system depends on the health of your gut? Join this very informative and inspiring and empowering workshop including take away tips to not only understand how to support your digestive system but to also heal and or prevent conditions from developing.

Elena is truly passionate about this topic having spent many years perfecting a variety of techniques to improve the lives of her students affected by digestive dis-ease.


  1. Lean in: A Functional Approach to Safe, Encouraging and Therapeutic Adjusting and Assisting. Saturday 6th April 20:30 – 22:00

Teaching yoga is not a career ladder in a city firm but it is a vocation and a truly rewarding path lived in the present moment where our energy and our spirit cohabit in perfect harmony . It is a path driven by compassion, enthusiasm, passion, courage and kindness.  From that place of service and universal trust, is so easy to generate that helpful touch and response that will allow someone to reconnect to his / her inner voice and inner healing .

In this very unique workshop, you will share many invaluable tips to truly help yoga practitioners feel the potency of the asanas.  Elena will show you very practical and easy to apply examples of adjusting and assisting for the 5 main yoga asana groups: Standing , Seated, Twists, Backbends and Arm balances.


  1. Your Back – Your Yoga. Sunday 7th April 09:00 – 10:30

From arm balances to backbends, stop the excuses.  Accept your structure and work towards understanding the inner mechanics behind the challenges and the fears of your practice.

During this workshop you will experience and learn original and functional sequences that cover different parts of your spine; to facilitate the cervical – upper and lower thoracic – and lumbar spine.  Acknowledging and feeling the limitations for each of these segments of the spine will inspire you to explore a different way of practicing in order to first overcome limitations then fully experience an enthusiastic and fulfilling practice on the mat and a balanced, grounded and pain free life off the mat!
