Do you understand why you’re teaching what you’re teaching? The body and how what we do physically affects us both mentally and physically? Embrace and understand how many different disciplines can complement each other and benefit you and your clients much more, equipping you with skills and knowledge that can help everyone.

Teacher Bios

Amy Fielding  – Amy has been teaching people to find strength and agility in their movements for 5 years. She trained with Teach Yoga back in 2011. Since certifying as a Yoga teacher Amy has worked with Elena and built up her own style of teaching. She has a deep understanding of precision in Yoga poses and because of this has gained a following of students who need help in overcoming injuries, stress, postnatal aches and pains and complete beginners.  She helps people reconnect to their bodies and minds and find happiness in themselves and the way they move.

Jesse Saunders – Jesse first started practising Yoga after breaking his leg back in 1999, initially just to get his mobility back but it turned out to set him on a path that has done much more than that!  He is a highly motivated teacher and practitioner with a wealth of experience in Yoga, Body Work, Thai Massage, Holistic Massage and Acro-Yoga.  He is also part of inspirational Acro-Balance duo ‘Poceczka’.

His key teaching principles are:

  • The foundation is key, as building on a solid foundation is the only way to build any structure.
  • Inversions are an important element to include and eventually become proficient in within our practice.  They offer a different psychological perspective, improve balance and highlight elements of our practice that we may otherwise hide from.
  • Capturing our imagination is the best way to learn.  When we are interested, joyful and discovering that childlike playful nature it is really hard not to learn… People make the best props!
